"A creative adult is a child who survived"

Maya is a girl who is deaf, and she uses art and storytelling as her language to communicate with the world. 🎨 She’s one of the few people who have befriended her muse, which visits her every time she creates.

In this illustration, I wanted to express how, even as an adult, I feel like an excited child again when I'm drawing and creating or experiencing stories. That’s why the reflection in the window shows her as an adult, but the feeling is childlike wonder. 🌟

It's also again quite a reflection of one of my favorite quote: "A creative adult is a child who survived."
